Welcome to Doward Park Campsite, a family-owned and operated campsite situated in the stunning Wye Valley. Our picturesque location on top of Great Doward is perfect for those seeking a peaceful escape in nature.
We are proud to offer a small site, maintained to the highest standards, that is perfect for the whole family to enjoy. This included your four-legged friends - we are a dog friendly site.
Our secluded woodland location in the Wye Valley is conveniently situated in-between the historic market town of Ross on Wye and the traditional county town of Monmouth.
Who we are...
In 2018 Sarah and Chris left their 'normal' jobs, sold their house, and moved 200 miles to South Herefordshire to pursue their dream of owning and running a campsite. Who hasn't thought about doing that - right? We went for it!

Over the next few years we set about updating, restoring, developing and modernising all areas of Doward Park Campsite into the site it is today. Through lots of work, thrills (and spills), and with the help of many others along the way we have learned what works (and doesn't) and are proud to call this place our home and business.

We have renovated our shop and facilities buildings, installed new hardstanding areas and electric hook-up points, added online booking, glamping, and our most recent upgrade, a woodland adventure playground.

Over recent years we have become a family of 3, and a team of 5 with our daughter being born in 2021, and our wardens Micha and Steve joining us in 2023. As a team we aim to provide you with the best camping experience we can!
